SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed about the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] here is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly a result of the lack of status sassa infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office here committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support place created for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
